Community Guidelines

I agree to engage in the community learning spaces (our live calls together and the community chat) with the below guidelines top of mind:

1. Co-Creating Safety – This is a space for mutual learning and support. Everyone contributes to making it a space that feels welcoming and supportive by being mindful, respectful, and open. AND we can’t know what will make you feel unsafe or might be triggering for you so while we’ll all be as thoughtful as possible, we trust you to take care of yourself and your own needs.

2. Show up your way - Show up however you need to in the moment - you're welcome to have video on/off, talk or not talk on calls, step away or log off if you need to, join us from bed or while doing the laundry - whatever you need!

3. No Right or Wrong, Only Experience – We honour individual experiences without judgment. Truth is personal, and we welcome diverse perspectives in our community spaces.

4. Speaking from the ā€˜I’ – Share from your own experience rather than offering generalisations or advice unless requested. This keeps conversations authentic and grounded.

5. Inclusivity – This is a space free of discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, ability, age, or background. We celebrate diversity and hold space for all identities.

6. Confidentiality & Trust – What is shared in this group stays in this group. Respect each other’s privacy and stories.

7. Mindful Communication – Be thoughtful about your tone, words, and timing. Text (in the community chat) can sometimes be misinterpreted—assume goodwill, clarify if needed. Please also endeavour to use gender-neutral language at all times.

8. Respecting Boundaries – There is no pressure to disclose beyond your comfort level and no pressure to show up to every single call or respond to everything in the community chat.

A final note about access

Please note that you will continue to have access to the course content after our 12 weeks together so, if life gets in the way, you'll still be able to complete the training in your own time and download your certificate. It's of course preferable that you keep up though and attend as many of the live calls as possible. By registering, you agree to do your best with your current capacity.
